Who is responsible<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data controller is <strong>Ciberpioneros, LLC<\/strong>, a company registered in New Mexico, United States, which operates <strong>ciberpioneros.com<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For privacy questions or requests concerning your data, email <a href=\"mailto:contacto@ciberpioneros.com\">contacto@ciberpioneros.com<\/a>and include &#8220;Privacy&#8221; in the subject line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"datos\">2. What data we use and why<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact inquiries<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We process the name, email address, and message you enter to respond to inquiries, receive suggestions, and consider proposals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Messages are sent to our email account. The contact form module does not store a copy of the message in the WordPress database; the email system and its backups may retain it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please avoid including passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">User accounts and comments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We process registration information, such as your username and email address, to manage your account, provide access, and enable your participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Published comments and the associated public name may be visible to other people. The email address used to register is not displayed as part of the comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IP addresses and technical browser information may also be processed to moderate comments, investigate abuse, and protect the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Newsletter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We manage subscriptions using <strong>Listmonk<\/strong>, hosted on our web server in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We process your email address, the information you provide when subscribing, and the information needed to manage your subscription and preferences. You can unsubscribe using the link in our messages or by contacting us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creating an account or sending an inquiry does not, by itself, subscribe you to the newsletter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operation and security<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hosting and email systems may log technical information, such as IP addresses, dates, requests, browsers, and errors, to provide the service, diagnose problems, and prevent misuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"bases\">3. Our legal bases for processing data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where European data protection law applies, the legal bases for processing depend on the purpose:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><strong>Your consent<\/strong>, for the newsletter and optional technologies that require it.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Providing the service you request<\/strong>, to manage your account and participation, or respond to inquiries before entering into a contract.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Our legitimate interests<\/strong>, to respond to other inquiries, moderate the community, and protect our systems, taking your rights into account.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Compliance with legal obligations<\/strong>, when we are required to retain or disclose particular information.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can withdraw your consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"servicios\">4. Services involved<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hosting and email.<\/strong> We use Unitydatos services, with infrastructure in Germany and the United States. Messages submitted through the form use the email server <code>quantum.unitydatos.com<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Listmonk.<\/strong> The newsletter application is hosted on our infrastructure in Germany. Sending messages also requires email transport services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>YouTube.<\/strong> We publish videos from the Ciberpioneros channel. When an embedded player loads, YouTube may receive technical information and process data under its own terms and our consent settings. The fact that we own the video does not remove YouTube&#8217;s involvement. You can consult the <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.google.com\/privacy?hl=es\">Google Privacy Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Google Search Console.<\/strong> We use its reports to understand the site&#8217;s presence in Google search results. We do not use Google Analytics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We may disclose information when necessary to comply with a legal obligation or respond to a valid request from an authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"analitica\">5. Analytics and cookies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use Umami to obtain visit statistics and improve the content of this site. We do not use Google Analytics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Umami is hosted at <code>umami.unitydatos.com<\/code> on Contabo infrastructure in Germany managed by Unitydatos. Its standard tracking code does not use analytics cookies. We collect statistics such as pages viewed, referral sources, and technical characteristics of browsers and devices. We do not add names, email addresses, or form contents to the tracking code included by this integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The site may use cookies necessary for user sessions and local storage for preferences, such as light or dark mode. Details of the technologies used and their controls are explained in the Cookie Policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ubicacion\">6. Where information is processed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The infrastructure we use is located in Germany and the United States. Some external providers may also process information in other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where rules on international transfers apply, those transfers must rely on a valid mechanism and the appropriate safeguards. You can request information about transfers affecting your data and the applicable safeguards by contacting us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"conservacion\">7. How long we retain data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We apply retention criteria according to the purpose:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><strong>Inquiries:<\/strong> for as long as necessary to respond to them and manage follow-up or potential liabilities.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Accounts:<\/strong> while they remain active and for additional periods needed for legal or security reasons.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Comments:<\/strong> for as long as they remain published or are needed for moderation and handling complaints. Deleting an account does not necessarily mean that all of its comments will be deleted.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Newsletter:<\/strong> while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we may retain minimal information to respect your choice and document how the subscription was managed.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Logs and backups:<\/strong> for the periods needed for security, recovery, and maintenance.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deletion from active systems may not coincide with immediate removal from backups, which follow their own retention cycles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"derechos\">8. Your rights and choices<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or portability of your data, as well as object to certain processing and withdraw your consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Email <a href=\"mailto:contacto@ciberpioneros.com\">contacto@ciberpioneros.com<\/a>. We may request the minimum information needed to verify your identity and protect your data. Do not send identity documents unless we ask for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority where applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"afiliacion\">9. Third-party and affiliate links<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you visit an external website through a link on Ciberpioneros, processing there is governed by that website&#8217;s policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Affiliate links will be identified when introduced. Before integrating associated tracking technologies, we will update the relevant information. Our own affiliate program is not part of the launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"cambios\">10. When the check loads, your browser connects to Cloudflare, which processes technical signals such as your IP address, browser and connection information, and the site&#8217;s identifier. Cloudflare uses these signals to detect bots and improve its detection service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our server verifies the result of the check before sending the message. This integration does not send your name, email address, or message content to Turnstile&#8217;s verification API. We also limit submission frequency using identifiers derived from the IP address and email address; these records do not contain the message text and are not used to build advertising profiles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cloudflare is an external provider, and processing of these signals is not limited to our server in Germany. Further information is available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cloudflare.com\/turnstile-privacy-policy\/\">Turnstile Privacy Addendum<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cloudflare.com\/privacypolicy\/\">Cloudflare Privacy Policy<\/a>. Questions about processing carried out by this site can be sent to the contact email address given in this policy.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group cb-legal cb-author-privacy is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public author profiles<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If an author configures a public profile, their posts may display their public name, biography, photo from the site media library, and supplied website link. This information is visible without signing in. The author box does not automatically publish the profile email or request an image from Gravatar.
